A three-week Workshop, led by WLW Friend, Kris McBride, Pastor & Women In Ministry Director with WLWM. Mark your calendar for this workshop begins on September 21, 2026 and ends on October 5, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. EDT/6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. CDT/4:00 p.m. PDT via Zoom. Kris will be unpacking how to help you usher in light during seasons of hardship by reminding you that Jesus is our Light and that His light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. We will explore who God is, why we can trust Him, the power of community, being thankful, and how praise pierces the dark. During the workshop we will have teaching, activities, and personal assignments to help equip you with tools to usher in light during difficult times.

- September 14 – The Light that darkness cannot overcome and who God is why we can trust Him
- September 21 – The power of community and being thankful to push back the darkness
- September 28 – How praise pierces the darkness and other benefits of praise
TEACHER
Kris has been in church ministry for over twenty years and currently is part of WLWM’s Leadership team. She is also the author of Pushing Back the Darkness: Finding Hope in Life’s Valleys and brings compassion, wisdom, and personal experience to this workshop. Through her own valleys, Kris has learned how to cultivate hope and push back the darkness – and she’s passionate about helping others do the same.

ABOUT THE TEACHER
Pamela Franklin Hall is a WLW Friend, teacher, and writer who is passionate in studying and sharing the Word of God. Her heart's desire is to help others deepen their relationship with Jesus and live out their faith with purpose and intention.
One of her favorite scriptures is Psalm 63:3, which says, 'Because Your Love is Better Than Life, My Lips Will Praise You’. This verse reminds me of the goodness and love of God and motivates me to share His truth with others.
As she journeys through life, she is driven by a desire to empty herself of every gift that God has given her - her words, her time, her talents – before she leaves this earth. She believes that we are all stewards of the gifts we've been given, and she wants to use hers to bring glory to God and bless others.
