Kris McBride has served in church ministry for over two decades, bringing a deep love for Christ to every role she’s held. Ordained in 2020, she holds a Master of Religion from Southern Evangelical Seminary. Throughout her ministry journey, Kris has faithfully led small group ministries, women’s ministries, taught at women events, and served as a Connection Director and Care and Women’s Pastor. Currently Kris serves on the leadership team of Women Leading Well Ministries as Pastor and Women in Ministry Director.
In September 2024, Kris released her first book, Pushing Back the Darkness: Finding Hope in Life’s Valleys, a heartfelt invitation to discover God’s presence and hope in seasons of struggle. She also wrote a Bible study on the same subject and enjoys sharing God’s hope through personal relationships, leading small groups, teaching at women’s events, and teaching with Women Living Well Ministries.
Kris and her husband David live in North Carolina and have been married for 38 years. They delight in their growing family, which includes three adult children, one son-in-law, a new grandbaby, and their beloved dog, Beau. In her spare time, Kris enjoys making wreaths, entertaining people in her home, going to the beach and finding shark teeth. Kris’s ministry is fueled by her passion to help people grow closer to God and trust Him.
