Jennifer is a ministry leader serving Women in Ministry, and Bible teacher who is madly in love with King Jesus. While serving as Women’s Ministry Pastor at Christ Church of Highland Park in Highland Park, Illinois, God began calling her to establish a unique ministry to women while receiving a Master of Divinity degree from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. She is passionate about helping women of all ages to know Christ more intimately through studying God’s Word.  Her desire is to serve our Lord in partnership with the Church to encourage and develop growing disciples of Jesus Christ by coaching, developing, renewing, and training women as both lay leaders and ministry leaders to fulfill the purpose that God has ordained for them.

In addition, she is also a Christian Coach assisting women in their spiritual journey by aligning their personal goals with biblical principles to fully equip them for God’s calling in their life. Each of us at times face challenges and/or obstacles that can leave an imprint on our hearts that can be a struggle to overcome. It’s only through a relationship with Jesus that we can experience real healing so that we can fully walk in His righteousness and redemption as a child of God while living out our calling on this side of eternity!

Overcoming Obstacle

My journey has been richly blessed. I have enjoyed fourty-two years of marriage, raised three wonderful children, and am now the proud grandmother of six beautiful grandchildren. For more than twenty-five years, I served my community as a Home Health Occupational Therapist, helping individuals and families navigate life's challenges with dignity and hope.
Spanning more than four decades, I have used my ministry gifts to provide leadership on local church and Christian school boards. I have also had the privilege of speaking at churches, retreats, and conferences throughout the United States and internationally. One of my greatest passions is helping women discover their God-given gifts, develop their leadership potential, and find their unique voice.

Since beginning my walk with Jesus in the mid-1970s, I have been on a lifelong journey of knowing God more deeply and following His ways through every season of life. I have come to cherish the truth of Scripture and the transforming work of the Holy Spirit. Along the way, I have learned that God's thoughts and ways are far higher than my own, and that surrendering to His leadership empowers me to live a life that honors Him and serves others well.

I am a Spirit-led Christian Life Coach with 25 years of experience in education, mentoring, and coaching, and nearly a decade serving in Women’s Ministry. I am passionate about helping others renew their minds with God’s Word. My mission is to equip individuals to know God deeply and to walk confidently in their true identity in Him, empowering them to live in freedom and fulfill their God-given purpose. I have a background in K-12 education, with a career spanning over two decades that impacted thousands of students and educators through my leadership. However, in 2024, the Lord led me to step away from my career and said yes to HIM in whatever capacity he asked. After much time spent processing and sometimes arguing with the Lord, I pursued a Christian Life Coach certification and launched Transformed by Truth Coaching, LLC. Additionally, I serve as the Women’s Pastor and Media Co-Pastor at her local church in a small Texas town. I also enjoy serving on women’s freedom events and marriage retreats through elevate Him Ministries. My heart is to partner with the Holy Spirit to transform as many lives as possible. When not leading or serving in ministry, I can be found sitting on my front porch with my husband, enjoying their little 10-acre slice of heaven, or chasing all three of our grandboys and wrangling goats.

I have loved the Bible since it was first presented to me when I was eight years old. Astonished by the power and beauty of the Scripture, I pursued a Master of Divinity degree after my undergrad. Still driven by the desire to know God through His Word and to make Him known by proclaiming His Word, I kept on studying and received my doctoral degree in New Testament Studies from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. God opened the door for me to teach biblical and theological courses at a seminary and minister to people of various walks of life as a Chaplain. In the past five years, I have taught Hermeneutics, Old and New Testament surveys, OT and NT theology, Biblical Theology of Mission, Progress of Redemption, etc.

Teaching, ministering, and being a daughter, a wife, and a mother, I have opportunities to meet women in different walks of life and with fascinating faith journeys. I am inspired by many women who earnestly pursue God and His Kingdom despite their occupation, marital status, age, socio-economic situation, and even roles (or the lack of) serving at church. It made me go back to the Scripture and study the portrayals of women in the turning points of salvation history. It is encouraging, liberating, and humbling to see how God used women, just as He used men, in bringing out His will for His people throughout history. I would be delighted to share these studies and reflections in order to help every believer to live his or her story in God’s Story.
